I apologize for the lack of updates. It's been a busy/rough week and I've kind of been neglecting translating. However, things are settling down and I believe I should be back on my normal routine for the most part.
I've actually made it to the first H-scene with Lieri and will start translating that tomorrow. So, expect a new patch in the next few days.
In other news, I've uploaded a new patch for GRC that corrects a few more spelling mistakes (thanks again Sodomysam).
You should also see a new poll for my next translation project going up soon.
And congrats to Naomi (she's my favorite too).

The Gang Rape Club and Asagi - Chaos Arena updated!

I have now posted patches for both The Gang Rape Club and Asagi - Chaos Arena that fix a slew of typos and various mistakes. All thanks should go to SodomySam, rabidchibi, and Anono. They were the ones who generously took their time to post these typos and mistakes so that I could correct them. Just know that everyone who has yet to play these games will have a better experience thanks to you. :)

The Gang Rape Club - New Patch is up!

I corrected all the mistakes SodomySam posted in the forum post here. I also went ahead and looked over all the instances of "as it is" and fixed them (usually by deleting them) and altering the sentence if necessary. The only thing that I didn't bother fixing was the instances of "with", which are far too numerous and IMO not as annoying as "as it is".
When reporting future mistakes, please make sure to use the latest patch.
Asagi - Chaos Arena - Final patch tomorrow!

Just about done with the game (300 lines left), but I'll finish those up tomorrow along with preparing for a final patch. I intend on playing through the entire game and making sure everything looks and sounds okay before release.
I also want to thank SodomySam in the forums for pointing out some mistakes/suggestions for The Gang Rape Club. You may have noticed the overuse of the words "as it is" and "with". While I would rather not focus my time in going back and fixing every instance, I will promise that future translations (including Asagi: Chaos Arena), will have much less occurrences of those words.
While I can't help that my translation sounds too literal at times (not overnight anyway), I can work on little annoyances like SodomySam brought up. So, please let me know if there are certain things that I can work on to make my translations sound better.
I'll have a patch out tomorrow for GRC fixing the mistakes SodomySam found.

Well, after officially beginning this project around the end of April, I can now happily say it's finished. It's been four months of grueling work, but somehow, together with your support, I was able to keep at it and see it to the end.
Without a doubt, The Gang Rape Club was the most ambitious and work-intensive attempt at translating an H-game thus far, but I have proven to myself and others that it's indeed possible.
Of course, things would not have gone so smoothly without a few people's generous help:
Boerbiet, for putting together this gorgeous website and continuing to improve it as well as keeping me on my toes. I can't thank you enough for what you've done.
Merek, for helping me with some of the more pesky Japanese words along the way.
raziel2001au, for making a cool little localization app.
To the few that have donated and motivated me to continue.
And to all those that appreciate and that have offered their kind words for what I do.
Now, to the patch info. Some important fixes you should be aware of:
1. Lilth made another mistake with the sound effects. In fact, there was a "stabbing" sound effect in the Suzuko ending that wasn't being played. I can happily say the ending is no longer retarded (see forum for details). In addition to fixing the sound effect in that scene, I fixed around 5-10 other various sound effects that were missing.
2. Patch localization. I've made the patch localized and have tested and verified that it's working under a non-Japanese OS (using Windows XP). The font is different (I assume that's suppose to happen), but everything seems to work. :)
3. Translation of the gallery screens. Using my awesome photoshop skills, I've made passable looking screens. :P
4. New title/staff screens courtesy of boerbiet!
5. Readme file included with patch (thanks again to boerbiet).
I didn't really spend a whole lot of time checking for spelling mistakes/typos, but I think that most of the messed up lines should be fixed.

Gang Rape Club - Friday's progress...

The game is done! However, I still have some screens to translate, to localize the patch, and do some polishing here and there (boerbiet made a cool new title screen). I also have to go back and do a little spell checking and to make sure everything sounds alright. With that said, I'm aiming to release the 100% patch tomorrow night or Sunday at the latest. So, I'll do all the back-patting and thank you's when the patch is released. :)
Still to come...a new poll for my next project will be going up soon (within a week). Asagi: Chaos Arena will resume on Monday and should be finished by Wednesday. And then the translation of Kangoku will officially start around Thursday/Friday. :)
I think that's all for now.
