Princess Elis due tonight...

I know it's been a while, but the normal, daily updates will be resuming with the release of Princess Elis tonight. The translation is finished, but I will be spending the day going through it and polishing it up for a final patch.
In other news, Asagi 1 will be getting a rewrite thanks in part to the efforts of iceslide. He will be going through each part of the script in detail and editing it as necessary and I'll be working with him to re-translate the parts that need more clarification. At the moment, we've parsed the first two chapters of the script.
I've been wanting to do a rewrite of Asagi 1 due to the fact that it was my first translation and have always felt it was unworthy of the Dark Translations name. Of course, Asagi is a game that deserves a good translation. Look for updates on that in the future.
Finally, I wanted to mention the schedule. Since I've been out of commission for a good month, I think it is only fair I put some solid work into DDC before beginning on Miss Leet. So, expect at least the next few weeks to be nothing but DDC updates.
New Asagi 2 patch with added sound effects....

A new Asagi 2 patch is up with the following additions:
-Cleared up/fixed four or five sentences (thanks to Merek for his help)
-Fixed the menu so that it reads "Help" instead of "Help File"
-Translated the config/gallery screens
-Added in a bunch of new looping sound effects (like in Prison Battleship)
I actually took some of the sound effects from Prison Battleship and Gang Rape Club to create various fucking/peeing noises. They are dynamic as well. For example, in the gang rape scene with the 100 men Asagi has to fuck, it begins with stale "flesh slapping against flesh" fucking sounds and eventually turns into sloppy fucking sounds/faster sloppy fucking sounds based on what's happening. Just make sure you have the sound effects turned on/up in the config menu. :)
I also checked out the lines Lilith had commented out in the sex demon scene, but after reading over it, I now know why they left them out. It's describing the bumps on the tentacles ravaging her womb, but the tentacle in the CG has no bumps, so it doesn't really make sense. :P

I got about 1000 lines translated today. It's interesting because Shion uses a slightly different style of writing then anything I've translated so far. But, that might be attributed in part to the buffoon that plays the main character. :P
The teacher's voice in Shion (Yukiko Misuzu) sounded very familiar. It turns out it's actually the same person who played Natsuko in Gang Rape Club, which was one of my favorite voices after Aiko. She uh, makes really good blowjob sounds. :P

It may have taken until 2 AM Monday morning, but it's finally done! And what a ride it's been.While the 100% completed patch is up, the last files are still being edited by Darkfusion and will likely be finished in the coming days.

I (and you should to) want to thank the people who commissioned this game: pj1351, Forneus, Professor Dog, boerbiet, and Vital.
I also want to thank Darkfusion for his excellent proofreading/editing work. Boerbiet for keeping the site running smoothly and providing some of the screens for Asagi 2. Merek for his translation help. raziel2001au for his awesome locale tool. And everyone else that I neglected to mention and all the various fans and supporters of the work I do. Thank you.
And please, go BUY Asagi 2 and support the artists (like Kagami) so they can bring us more Asagi. :)

File 21 of 22 is finished! More interesting story elements...I think the first part of file 22 ties up the good ending and the second part ties up the "good" bad ending.

File 20 of 22 is finished! I had to spend a little more time on it because it involved a lot of story elements, but I'm still on schedule.
Files 21 and 22 are actually split up into 4 files (a and b), but the two 21 files are very small, and I believe file 22, while long, is mostly composed of H-scenes, so they'll be easier. So, here is the schedule:
Friday: File 21 (a and b)
Saturday: File 22 (a)
Sunday: File 22 (b)
Asagi 2 should be done Sunday and it'll take a few days for Darkfusion to edit them. I should point out that there is still $20 left on the Asagi 2 commission, so I won't be releasing a final patch until that's fulfilled. Please go here if you're interested in completing that commission.
EDIT: Vital has already covered the $20, so Asagi 2 has been fully commissioned. Since there wasn't an H-scene in file 20 and I'm close to finishing anyway, I'll probably just wait until I'm done translating on Sunday before releasing a patch.
In the meantime, work on Shion will officially begin on Monday.

File 19 of 22 is now finished and a new patch is up! As I said before, some of the best Asagi moments yet. :) Anyone want to guess as to how much Asagi and Sakura are charging as prostitutes?
Files 17 and 18 have also been edited by Darkfusion, which includes a fix where I mistakenly translated a piece of Oboro's dialogue from Asagi's narrative.
I should also note that file 17 (where Asagi gets raped by the sex demons) includes 4 or 5 lines, including an Asagi voice over, that Lilith commented out in the script (probably because it was redudant). I'll probably go back and translate it and add it in when I finish Asagi 2.
You'll also notice some new Asagi 2 opening screens by Boerbiet. :)
Finally, I want to point out that when Asagi and Sakura announce how much they're charging as prostitutes, they say "NG nashi" or "NG nashide" before the amount. Thanks to Merek's help, it probably means something along the lines of "I'm a flawless piece of merchandise." For the moment, however, I opted not to translate these until I get a chance to look back over it and find out the best way to translate it. Any ideas are welcome.
